Apply spatial analysis, with direction, to solve a geographic problem
This standard asks you to use geographic tools and maps to answer a real geography question. You'll collect data about locations and places, manipulate that data (using techniques like mapping, measuring, or graphs), then explain what your findings mean for solving the problem.
You collect relevant spatial data, manipulate it using basic techniques, and describe a valid answer to the geographic problem based on what you found.
You collect enough spatial data to fully address the problem, complete accurate manipulations, and explain your answer with evidence from your data to support it.
You do everything in Merit, but go further by fully explaining your answer with detailed evidence and providing a more comprehensive solution to the geographic problem.
