Demonstrate understanding of a variety of spoken Indonesian texts on familiar matters
You'll listen to several Indonesian audio texts on everyday topics and show that you understand what's being said. You need to pick out the key information, ideas, and opinions, then communicate back what you've understood in English, Te Reo Māori, or Indonesian.
- ·Listen to a variety of spoken Indonesian texts (conversations, news clips, reports, stories) and identify the main information and ideas being discussed
- ·Extract and communicate the key facts, opinions, and details from what you hear
- ·Rephrase or explain what you've heard in a way that shows your understanding—you can use English, Te Reo Māori, or Indonesian
- ·Create visual representations (like maps, diagrams, or sketches) to show your understanding of the content
- ·Clarify, summarise, or expand on what the texts say, including any messages or meanings that aren't directly stated
