Demonstrate understanding of a variety of written and/or visual Korean text(s) on familiar matters
This standard asks you to read and understand written Korean texts and visual materials about everyday topics. You need to show you can pick out the key information, understand what's happening, and explain what the text means—including ideas that aren't directly stated. The assessment typically has three questions with multiple parts, and you should attempt all of them to do well.
You understand the general gist of the texts and can communicate some of the meaning, showing you grasp what the texts are mainly about.
You identify most of the key details from the texts and use them to support your answers clearly, though you may focus on parts rather than seeing the whole picture.
You identify and link all relevant details together, use specific evidence to fully justify your conclusions, and can read between the lines to pick up on implied meanings and nuance.
