Demonstrate understanding of psychological approaches
Demonstrate understanding of psychological approaches
You need to show you understand at least three different psychological approaches and explain what makes each one unique. For each approach, you'll describe its main ideas and the theories or research that support it. The standard is asking you to compare how different approaches explain human behaviour in different ways.
You describe what three psychological approaches are, list their main ideas, and name theories or studies connected to each one.
You explain how and why specific theories fit within each approach, and you discuss what each approach assumes about how people work.
You thoroughly explain the approaches and show how they could be used to explain real human behaviour or real-life situations—demonstrating that you understand when and why each approach is useful.
