Perform a scripted role for an audience using drama techniques
You need to act out a character from a script in front of an audience while working and reacting with another actor. You'll show what your character is like and what they want by using your voice, body, movement, and the space around you in the scene. The script can be from an existing play, a devised piece you've written, or even just an excerpt—as long as it has proper character development and back-and-forth between actors.
You consistently use drama techniques to show your character and how they fit into the scene, you interact with the other actor, and you stay in character for most of it.
You skilfully use your voice, body, movement, and space with clear purpose and control; you sustain a believable character with a strong understanding of the situation, and you listen and react purposefully to the other actor throughout.
You embody the character with presence and commitment, showing sophisticated understanding of subtext and what your character really wants beneath the surface; you respond authentically to create a convincing and fully realised performance that stays engaging the whole time.
