Demonstrate music performance skills
You need to perform a piece of music for an audience and show that you can both play your instrument well and handle yourself on stage. The examiner will watch your technical skill (how well you play) and your stage presence (how you look, move, and connect with the audience).
You play the piece reasonably well with basic stage presence; the audience can hear and follow what you're doing.
You play with confidence and secure technique; your stage presence is assured and you shape the music thoughtfully, showing you understand it.
You play fluently and with conviction; your stage presence is compelling and natural, and your musicianship shows real depth of interpretation.
